How-to guides¶
Task-oriented recipes. Each assumes you know the basics — if not, start with the tutorials — and walks through one concrete task.
Running krites¶
- Run the studio — launch the browser UI and drive a shoot from it.
- Update krites — upgrade the macOS app in place, from inside the studio.
Tuning the cull¶
- Tune a cull profile — adjust the judgement to your taste, globally or for one shoot.
- Enable face/eye analysis — turn on the closed-eyes and blink cull signals.
- Configure krites from the studio — the global settings panel and per-shoot overrides, applied live.
Editing and delivery¶
- Remove an object — inpaint a distraction out of a frame.
- Export for Lightroom — the two handoff routes: a rendered keeper set, or XMP sidecars on your originals.
If a task you need is not here, the CLI reference covers every command, and What krites does not do covers the things krites deliberately will not do at all.
